A member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Chester County Bar Association and a contributor to the Chester County Bar Foundation, Mr. Pyle is a graduate of Widener University School of Law (cum laude) in Wilmington, DE, and is a published legal writer with articles appearing in the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and the Food and Drug Law Journal.
Mr. Pyle is also known in the community as the former owner of Vitamin Express, a popular vitamin retail store which he operated for several years in Rising Sun, MD. He currently serves as the president of The Rising Sun School of Music. Prior to his becoming an attorney, Mr. Pyle was a respected income tax preparer for 15 years and a VITA volunteer for the Internal Revenue Service for one year, assisting indigent taxpayers in filing their federal and state tax returns.
Mr. Pyle holds a B.S. from Excelsior College in New York and an M.A. from Columbia Pacific University in California. He has been married to his wife, the former Gloria Wilson, for 41 years. He has two sons, Justin and Christopher, and a cat, Socks. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, and raised in Lansdowne, Delaware County, PA. He currently resides in Fair Hill, MD.
